Peggy MacNeil – Example of Leadership

Peggy MacNeil began her career in New York where she was a television exec. art director for major advertising agencies like BBDO, NWAyer and Grey Advertising, and a direct marketing creative supervisor at Ogilvy & Mather working with American Express and AT&T. Her NY experience was significant in her career growth; she developed her branding and design skills, provided leadership for creative projects and honed business management and customer service skills. Peggy captured multiple design awards during her career: both Andy and Clio Awards for her television art direction that included clients Viva Paper Towels and L'Air du Temps among others. She was also awarded First Prize at the Retail Advertising Conference for her JCPenney commercials, and a Gold and a Leader Echo for her DM work.

As 1990 approached, Peggy's priorities changed: she wanted to work directly with her clients from the beginning of a project to its end, she wanted to focus on small to mid-size businesses. Capitalizing on her skills as a NY Art Director, Peg opened Mannis MacNeil Design Group in 1990 and later, relocated the business to Lexington, MA in 1994. With her background, it's no wonder that she has built a successful firm. In response to an ever-changing marketing environment, she added website design and development to her list of services.

A successful entrepreneur, Peggy holds her Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Management Boston University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She earned her certification in Web Development and Design from CDIA/Boston University. An award-winning designer, Peggy is a results-driven professional who specializes in designing unique brands, print marketing materials and websites for both large and small businesses.

Peggy is also an active member of BNI Mystic Valley Connection, NEDMA, Boston and Boston
